Megan has been working as the the director of the Welcome Ministry since June of 2002. Megan functions at the director of a 501(c)3 not for profit that is affiliated with 8 inter-denominational churches and faith groups. Megan is responsible for the operation of the Welcome Ministry, the Evening Outreach Program, Community Dinners and the Computer Room. Megan recieved a joint call from Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Christ Church Lutheran, St. Francis Lutheran and Sts. Mary and Martha Lutheran.

General tasks include: fund raising, grant writing, volunteer training and recruitment, bookkeeping, counseling, political lobbying and pastoral care. Megan also functions as a staff member at Old First Presbyterian Church and has begun educating and organizing the community, networking with political and city officials, working with city programs and preaching at affiliated churches and groups.

Megan has also been working with the Faithful Fools Street Ministry engaging on street retreats the the Tenderloin of San Francisco and in Nicaragua. Click here to read about megan's last 7 day street retreat.
