With a master of divinity at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California, Megan will begin work on a Doctorate of Ministry in the Fall of 2009. Pastor Megan has been the Director of The Welcome Ministry since June of 2002 and has been called to this ministry by a joint call from Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Christ Church Lutheran, St. Fracis Lutheran and Sts. Mary and Martha Lutheran and serves on the board of the Sojourn Chaplaincy at San Francisco General Hospital. Pastor Megan regularly visits churches and others groups to talk about homelessness, preach or provide trainings. If your group is interested or wants to learn more, please contact Pastor Megan. |

Refusing to obey the unjust policies of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's (ELCA) policies against gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer individuals, Pastor Megan was ordained Extraordinarily on November 18, 2006. Rostered by Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries, Megan has served on the organizations Covenant Circle as Director of Communications and currently serves as Director of Candidacy. |
