Volume One of the Emerging Voices Series:

Just Lutheran

Call for Submissions: Deadline March 15, 2009

Seeking submissions from a wide range of Lutheran experiences, from all types of calls (lay and rostered).

With dwindling church membership and divisions over social statements, it is easy to wonder what the Lutheran presence in the world is. In times when it has been hard to agree on theology, Lutherans continue to work together to strive for justice. In addition to the worldwide impact Lutherans have made to address hunger, poverty, genocide, global climate, disaster response, health and other quality of life issues. This issue of the Emerging Voices Series is a glimpse into the work of Lutherans around the world who feel called by their Lutheran faith to work for justice in ordinary and extraordinary ways.
